We spent seven sunny days’ ski touring in the Romsdalen area of central Norway in April of 2019. From the historic art-deco architecture of Alesund we drove to the Isfjorden area, where all around are white mountains just perfect for ski-touring. To the east are views to the wild mountains and glaciers of central Norway, while to the west you can see the sea and the snaking arms of deeply incised fiords. Amazing country! even if we did not meet any Trolls!
